Our editorial standards

The rules I follow for every review on Whitmore, so you know exactly what kind of review you’re reading.

No one pays for a score

No platform, school or course provider pays for a review, approves one before it goes live, or has any say in the score. Every product in a topic is judged on the same rubric.

I say how each review was made

I sign up for each product myself, walk through onboarding and the first free lessons, and check live pricing, trial and cancellation terms, with screenshots. I combine that with official course information, published studies and documented learner experiences, and list every source. I never claim to have completed a course or to have results from it. The full process is in how I review.

I show my reasoning

Scores come from a published, weighted rubric for each topic, applied the same way to every review in it. Each review shows how it scored on every criterion, and I explain the trade-offs instead of leaning on a single number. When I recommend something, I say who it suits and who should skip it.

I fix mistakes in the open

When I get something wrong, I correct the page and note what changed and when. Spot an error? Tell me and I’ll look into it.

I keep reviews current

Prices, features and catalogues change. I revisit reviews when they do, and date them so you know how fresh the information is.

Every review is signed

I’m Pragya Jha, and I write and publish every review on Whitmore myself. When a review draws on learner experiences, I link to where they were published. Questions? Email me at pragya@whitmoreelementary.org, or find me on LinkedIn and X.
