The short answer: affiliate commissions
When you click certain links on this site and go on to buy a subscription or course, the company pays us a commission. It’s the same price for you either way — the commission comes out of the company’s pocket, not yours. Those commissions are what keep the site running and the reviews free to read.
What it costs you: nothing extra
You never pay more for using our links. There’s no markup and no surcharge. If anything, we’ll point you to a discount when one genuinely exists.
What it does not change: the review
This is the part that matters. A commission never buys a higher score, a better ranking, or a spot on a “best of” list. We recommend plenty of things we earn nothing from, and we’ve given low scores to companies that pay us well. The person testing a product doesn’t even see what it pays.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell reviews, run “sponsored” verdicts, accept payment for placement, or let a company edit our words. If that ever changed, we’d tell you at the top of the page — but it won’t, because it would make the whole site pointless.
